Returns Policy and Procedure
J R Wholesale understand that there may be times when goods need to be returned due to order errors or exceptional circumstances. Wherever possible we will accept returns and we have published our policy and procedure to help our customers avoid waste and unnecessary costs.
Policy Statement
It is J R Wholesale’s aim to provide the highest standard of service to all its customers, if a customer has reason to request a return of product the company will endeavour to meet the request, at no cost to the customer, subject to the restrictions detailed below.
Non Prepared Products
1. If a customer orders the wrong product or an excessive quantity and wishes to return some or all of the product they must submit a verbal request, to return the goods, by telephone within two hours of the order being delivered.
2. In response J R Wholesale will contact the customer to discuss collection of the product (normally the next working day) and stipulate the product storage requirements prior to collection.
3. Where products require cold room storage the customer must be able to store the product at 4 degrees centigrade until the product is collected.
4. Following collection and return to J R Wholesale the products will be examined to ensure there has been no deterioration in quality and if fit for resale a credit note will be issued to the customer for the full value.
5. Where it is found that the product has deteriorated Roland Knight CEO-General Manager will telephone the customer to inform them that no refund can be made, under these circumstances any recompense will be at the absolute discretion of J R Wholesale.
Prepared Products
6. Because prepared products are no longer in their natural state and have been processed specifically to meet the customer’s requirements it is unlikely that J R Wholesale will be able to accept a return.
7. If a customer is wishing to return any prepared products they should contact Roland Knight CEO/General Manager to discuss the situation.
8. Any agreement to accept a return and/or make a refund will be at the absolute discretion of J R Wholesale.
