Our ethos is to provide our customers with the highest quality fruit and vegetables, together with an unbeatable level of service. We are based at our family run farm in Hailsham, East Sussex, where we grow some of the vegetables we sell through J R Wholesale.

​We restrict our field of operations to within a thirty mile radius of our premises to ensure that we can respond to our customer’s requirements faster and more effectively than our competitors, whilst also keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum.

approved suppliers

In order to maintain our extensive product list we have established a list of approved suppliers. All have been chosen because they have a history of being able to provide us with consistently top quality products, at competitive prices, and have a proven track record of meeting our delivery timescales. Prior to placing an order the preferred supplier will be telephoned in order to gain verbal assurance that the products to be ordered are in the peak of condition and only after assurances have been received will we place an order.​

REFRIGERATED STORAGE

To ensure that our products reach you in perfect condition we have some 77 square metres of refrigerated storage space which is maintained at a constant temperature of 4 degrees centigrade.

​The refrigerated storage is used to store all our product range other than bananas, potatoes, onions, apples and fruits, which are stored at ambient temperature.

GUARANTEED FRESHNESS

All customer orders are made up on the day of delivery to guarantee freshness, and our staff are trained only to pack goods in the peak of condition.

​Each member of our order preparation team will provide a service to specific customers in order to become accustomed to the customers preferences i.e. red apples, large cauliflowers, ripe fruit etc. and all products are handpicked to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

DELIVERIES

​All deliveries, including emergency deliveries, are undertaken by our own staff in our own vehicles and because we only operate locally we are able to offer more flexibility over delivery times.

​Advice is always available and customers will be contacted either by phone or email on a regular basis to ensure that they are aware, and taking full advantage of, our seasonal promotions.
